Buy Nothing groups proved neighbors want to give freely and ask plainly without a nonprofit label or income test. ISO App mirrors that rhythm in two lanes on the same product:

Passing something on
Post on the Buy Nothing feed with a short title, pickup area, and optional #buynothing / #free tags. Neighbors message in-app. no need to drop your phone number in a public comment thread.
Looking for something free
Post an ISO, use gift-friendly tags, and turn on Neighbor gifts on Browse to see neighbors open to free or donation-friendly handoffs. Same trust badges (Founding Member, campus, verified email) as any other listing.
Not a charity platform
ISO App doesn’t run income verification or “deservingness” scoring. dignity is the default. We moderate for spam and safety like the rest of the feed. South Bay density is still growing; greater Bay neighbors can join and use travel radius.
