Phone SMS verification consent
Public description of ISO APP (heyiso.app) 2FA SMS opt-in. Last updated: August 6, 2026.
Sender: ISO APP (legal name Thomas T Chung), website https://heyiso.app.
Who receives messages: registered ISO App users who voluntarily request phone verification on their account Profile.
Why messages are sent: two-factor authentication (2FA) — a one-time passcode (OTP) so the user can confirm they own a US mobile number and receive a Phone verified badge. Not marketing or promotional SMS.
How users opt in
- Sign in at https://heyiso.app.
- Open Profile ((requires login).
- Under Verify your phone, enter a US mobile number.
- Read the consent disclosures (frequency, rates, privacy, terms) and check the box agreeing to receive the OTP SMS from ISO APP.
- Click Text code — SMS is sent only after that explicit action.
Reviewers: the live control is behind login; the consent checkbox language matches the replica below.
Verify your phone
Optional. We text a one-time code so you can confirm a US mobile number. Neighbors see a Phone verified badge — not your full number on the feed.
